I’ve been working in IT since 1989, and I founded Aspendora Technologies, LLC in 2010 to solve a problem, one that I experienced firsthand. Years ago, while working for another company, I needed an IT project completed. I reached out to several providers, but instead of listening to my needs, each of them tried to push their own solutions. Frustrated by the lack of genuine support, I realized that many businesses must face the same challenge. That experience sparked the idea for Aspendora.
My journey into technology is also shaped by my family’s background in the general contracting industry. Growing up around small businesses, I saw the unique challenges they face—tight budgets, complex projects, and the constant need for reliable partners. I understand how critical it is for business owners to have support they can trust, and I’ve built Aspendora around that principle.
When I launched Aspendora, I quickly noticed another disturbing trend: IT companies selling services they didn’t fully understand. I saw providers charge clients for managed backups without actually setting them up—leaving businesses vulnerable and unprotected. I knew I had to do things differently.
